The Mirador de C\u00f3ndores is one of the most popular destinations in the Caj\u00f3n del Maipo for trekking, mainly because when you reach the highest point, it is always possible to spot the Andean condor, which can have a wingspan of up to 3 meters. This hike is ideal for people who want to start getting into the world of trekking, as it does not have a steep slope and, with the right poles and shoes, it is a fairly easy route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Condors often glide a few meters above the rocky cliffs where the viewpoint is located, offering an impressive spectacle. In terms of native flora, we can find various species such as Quisco, Colliguay, Quillay, Maitenes, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is an ideal excursion for nature lovers looking for an unforgettable experience near the Chilean capital. Other attractions along this route include views of the Tupungato Volcano, the highest in the region at 6,570 meters above sea level, and a pre-Hispanic petroglyph believed to have been made by the Incas who inhabited the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
