We will pick you up at your accommodation at 7 a.m. in Santiago or at 7:30 a.m. in San Jos\u00e9 de Maipo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The hike begins at an altitude of 850 meters in El Manzano sector, Caj\u00f3n del Maipo. We walk at a slow but steady pace through sclerophyllous forest, where we will see native species such as Natri, Colliguay, Boldo, Litre, and Soldadito Rojo, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It will take us between two and a half to three and a half hours to reach the first volcanic caves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will spend between 1 and 2 hours exploring the different caves and can choose one in which to take a good rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2:00 p.m. We begin our return to the parking lot. The descent will take between 1.5 and 2.5 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
